Hillsborough, Carriacou, November 2, 2015 – Allstars United hammered Petite Martinique Stars 8-1 to take the lead in the inaugural Digicel Spreenters Super League Football Tournament in Carriacou on the weekend.

George Guy scored a hattrick, two goals each from Ashbbah Plentie and Davidson Cato and one from Denroy Thomas gave Allstars a huge margin of victory on Saturday. Stephon Bethel converted the lone goal for Petite Martinique Stars.

In the other game played on Sunday, Uprising Youths defeated Dover United 2-1 with Keshon Modeste, the brother of national football coach Anthony Modeste, scoring a brace for Uprising Youths and Kinsley Stowe responding for Dover United.

Allstars United are on three points, same as Uprising Youths and Lauriston Young Ballers, but with a better goal difference.

They will come up against Brazil United on Saturday, in one of two scheduled games. The other game features Lauriston Young Ballers against Hilltop Ballers.
