ST JOHN’S, Antigua, September 12, 2016 – Two Grenadians will be on tour with the West Indies “A” team of Sri Lanka starting next month.

The Selection Panel of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) on Monday announced two 14-man squads for the Four-Day and One-Day match series against Sri Lanka.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Andre Fletcher has been named vice captain in the “A” one-day team while Dwain Gill has been appointed Team Manager.

Trinidad and Tobago’s middle-order batsman Jason Mohammed has been handed the captaincy of the limited overs team while Barbadian allrounder and former West Indies’ Under-19 captain Sharmah Brooks will captain the four-day squad. Vishual Singh of Guyana will be his vice-captain.

The series will consist of three four-day and three one-day matches to run from October 1 to November 1.

The players are currently encamped in Barbados before departing for Sri Lanka at the end of the month.
