GROS ISLET, St Lucia, December 15, 2015 – Grenadians Devon Smith and Andre Fletcher featured in the Windward Islands Volcanoes’ drawn fifth round match against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the Professional Cricket League (PCL) Regional Four-Day Tournament which ended on Monday.

The left-handed Smith made 56, his best effort for the season and Shane Shillingford (34) and Fletcher 29.

Both Shillingford and Fletcher scored half centuries in the Volcanoes’ first innings total of 306. Shillingford made 64, Fletcher (63), Mervyn Matthew (48 not out) and Smith added 32.

In response the Red Force scored 382 with Yannick Ottley left unbeaten on 99, Yannic Cariah (70), Narsingh Deonarine (60) and Marlon Richards 60.

Kevin McClean took four for 66 in his spell of 17 overs while Shillingford bagged three for 109.

Smith and Tyrone Theophile were unbeaten at the close of play.

In other results, Barbados Pride defeated Leeward Islands Hurricanes by 10 wickets and Guyana Jaguars maintained their lead with a 117-run win over Jamaica Scorpions.

At the end of the fifth round, Jaguars lead the standings with 85 points followed by Pride (63), Scorpions (53), Red Force (37), Volcanoes (29) and Hurricanes (13).
