Grenada Cricket Association LogoST GEORGE’S, May 8, 2016 (GrenadaSports) – St Patrick eliminated St Mark from the 2016 Grenada Cricket Association (GCA) Inter-Parish Super50 Cup Tournament with a five-wicket win at Alston George Park on Sunday.

It was another low score from the St Mark batsmen as they totalled 134 from 31.1 overs with Nkruma Fraser (25) and Wavel Benjamin (21) making considerable scores.

Denis George bagged five for 25 and Deron Hypolite three for 54.

In their run chase, St Patrick lost opener Eran Matthew in the first over and then Jamal Charles in their third over with only 10 runs on the scoreboard.

But Essen Joseph, Hypolite and Devon Smith set about in rebuilding the innings with Joseph and Hypolite adding 49 runs for the third wicket before Joseph was dismissed for 40. Hypolite and Smith added 70 for the fourth wicket with Smith 26 and Hypolite for 51.

St Patrick reached their target in 20.3 overs. Michael Downes took two for 38 and a wicket each for Reuel Williams and Oskey Barry.
